Other Islands

The other two Hawaiian Islands, Kahoolawe and Niihau, are not open to tourists. Niihau has very few residents, all of whom speak the Hawaiian language and live life according to ancient traditions. Kahoolawe is actually uninhabited because it is extremely dry and hardly ever receives any rain. While you will be able to see these islands from the coast, don’t expect to be able to visit them.
